Letter from T.G.B. to Donald McLean Esq. dated January 19th. (no year) 1860 My dear McLean, I have only time to send you the enclosed extract from a Despatch, and a semi-official from myself. If the Duke had known as much as you and I know, I doubt if he would have expressed himself so strongly about the other gentleman. I sincerely hope you are getting strong again, and that when you return we shall see you quite recovered.
