Tupurupuru 1st Feby. 1859 Dear Sir, I have now this day received yours of the 15th ult. and surrounded as I am by about 150 men, women and children, all talking, some to themselves but more to me, cannot be expected to write at any length, I am glad to hear that there is some prospect of surveying assistance, I have completed the purchase of the Tupurupuru block yesterday of about 43,000 acres and two other small blocks joining to it of about 5 or 6000 acres more, I will write you more fully by next mail.
