My dear McLean, Taumati Ngaporu has been here and has given a most graphic account of Teraiah's interview with W. Thomson. The latter refused to join him but he still thinks Teraiah may make the attack by himself. He says Teraiah urged the attack in the strongest manner on Thomson and would not be satisfied with one refusal. He advises great caution. Yours sincerely T.G.B. P. S. I shall be home at six if you wish to see me.
