Tangoio 22 June 1864. My dear Mr. McLean The bearer of this Henini is anxious to become a loyal subject of Her Majesty I have told him that to show that he is in earnest he must sign a document similar to the one Wi Tako signed. He says he prefers doing so here I don't know. But I dare say after you have talked to him you will be able to make him do what you like. Things are all right here and the Maoris are still very anxious to let more land. Yours truly Reginald Newton Biggs.
