Waipukurau. 29th. August 1852. Sir, I herewith have the honour of forwarding a. sketch map of the Blocks of land lately offered to Government, surveyed by myself. The one Native Reserve in No 2 Block is completely surveyed. Hori Nia Nia particularly mentioned that Reserve, viz.- Turanga Waiho, to be the only one in that Block. I mention this because and therefore is not so well done as I wish; so hope allowances will be made. I have the honour to be Sir, Your most obedient servant, (Signed) C.H. Louis Pelichet. To:- Donald McLean Esq. J.F. Land the natives at Akitio, and Oahanga, want other Reserves to be made for them. You will perceive by plan, that the Intermediate Block: is retained by natives. The Reserves in No I Block are only partially surveyed, the natives actually refusing to work more at them. But I suppose they will be near enough for the purpose you reouire. I regret not being able to send the Plan before; but was prevented commencing sooner by very bad weather. It has been made under every disadvantage;
