New Plymouth August 4th. 1851. Sir, In reply to your letter dated 14th. July last, stating that you had been instructed to pay to the absentee natives, who are claimants "in Bell's Block at Puketapu" the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds, (£150) and requesting to be informed if such sum had been transmitted to me for that purpose.
