Sir, With reference to your letter of this date, I have the honor to state that I have received the £500 alluded to as the instalment of the Rangitikei purchase money, from the Principal Agent, in the shape of a Bill of Exchange drawn by himself in my favour as Colonial Treasurer; and have to request that I may be informed what course I am to pursue.
