I sent Saunders up with a letter to Te Waru and I think it is more than likely he is by this time on the way down, if so it will be all right but if he stays away coupling it with what I have told Mr. Richmond, I shall begin to think it looks however a few days will show the real state of affairs and I shall take the earliest opportunity of giving you every information.
