WYNDHAM ANGLERS.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meetting of the Club was held in Gray's sample rooms on Monday, September 20. There was a large attend. ance, ' Mr J. E. Mitchell, president, being in the chair. The president stated that last season had been most suocessful and he hoped the coming one would be as good. For all the competitions there had been good entries. The club was to be congratulated upon having won the shield donated for the triangular competition. , Finance was satisfactory and there was a promise of increased membership for the forthcoming season. Office-bearers for the ensuing year were

elected as follows President, Mr J. E. Mitchell (re-elected) ; vioe-presidents Messrs A. T. Ross and A. Udy; secretary and treasurer, Mr C. King (reelected) ; general committee— Officebearers and Messrs A. A. Aitken, A. Young and G. Bogue. Messrs Mitchell, Aitken and Smart were re-appointed as a handicapping committee. On tho motion\of Messrs Bogue and Young it was decided to hold an allday handicap competition (bare fly) on the opening day, October 1; the weigh-in at Gray's sample-rooms at 7 p.m; the fish to be distributed as in previous years. The secr.etary was instmcted to write thanking Mr J. Brand for his good work in clearing the banks of the Wyndham River, also the A'cclimatisa'tion Society asking for a donation or msdal as a prize for the highest aggregaie weight in the season's competitions.
