Christchurch City Empowering (No. 2) Bill • The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report:— (1) That it is a local Bill. (2) That the Standing Orders have been complied with. (3) That the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected, in that clause 11 deals with certain land which is a reserve subject to the provisions of Part I of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.. (4) That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 21st August, 1946.

Waimakariri Harbour Bill The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report: — (1) That it' is a local Bill. (2) That the Standing Orders have been complied with. (3) That the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected in the following ~ ( f . respects : (a) Paragraph (6) of clause 9 provides that, in respect of real property vested in the Corporation of the Borough of Kaiapoi pursuant to clauses 6 and 7 of this Bill, no stamp duty under the Stamp Duties Act, 1923, shall be payable ; and t (b) Certain lands dealt with in the Bill are public reserves subject to the provisions of Part I of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.
