No. 13. (New Zealand —Miscellaneous.) My Lord, — Downing Street, 14th December, 1906. In reply to Your Lordship's despatch (No. 90) of the 23rd October last, I have the honour to inform you that His Majesty the King has been pleased to approve of the retention of the title of " Honourable " by Mr. William Montgomery on his retirement from the Legislative Council of the Colony of New Zealand after a continuous service of inpre than ten years. I have the honour to inform you that His Majesty will not be advised to exercise his powers of disallowance with respect to the Act No. 63 of 1906 of the Parliament of New Zealand, entitled " An Act to make Provision for Customs Reciprocity between New Zealand and South Africa," a transcript of which accompanied your despatch No. 102, of the 24th November, last.
