Court to-day, a boy named John Denham was sentenced to 48 hours' imprisonment and 18 strokeß with a cat-o'-nine-tails, for stealing a money-bag containing fourpence, the property of the Railway Pepartmoqt. Archibald Wilson, charged on the information of the District Engineer tvith the larceny of £247 belonging to the Government, was remanded till Friday.
