THE P. O. BOX CENSORSHIP.

THE PROTEST. WELLINGTON, Oct 19. Thd Baptist Union executive passed a resolution condemning the Government’s action in instituting a censorship over the Protestant Political Association’s postal box while refraining from similar action with regard to Roman Catholics, and holding that its failure to prosecute the "Tablet” for the publication of seditious articles warranted charges of religions partisanship. In another resolution the Union said it entertained no doubt Mr Elliott’s sincerity, but dissociated itself entirely from the charges and insinuations which caused so much public discussion, and condemned the use and publication of them in controversy with the Roman Catholic Church.
