D. Company, 7th Regiment (Taihape), Platoon completed their musketry course last week. The possible score was 80; 65 points are required for a marksm'an’s badge and 45 to qualify for efficiency. Following are the scores:—Sergt. Fie’d, 51; Sergt. Timbs, 48; Ptes. Anderson, 67; Ptes. Capill, 58; Pte. Cody, 51; Pte. Missen, B. M., 61; Pte. Niven, 48; Pte. Willscroft, 66; Pte. Wildbore, 46; Pte. Walker, 47; Sergt. Wrightson, 49; Pte. Clarkin, 27; Pte. Tobeck, 51; Pte.

The result is considered very satisfactory, all except two qualifying, and three qualified as marksmen.
