Johnson, who ran away from hi home at Upton Road, Hackney, Losdon. He was charged at Old Btreo Children's Court with stealing a ware* and £l4 belonging to a lodger at hi home. Police-Constable Lewis deserib ed how he captured the boy in Engle field Road. It was said that when h. ran away the boy went to Harwich. where he lived for a time in a railway tunnel. A remand was ordered to arrange for the boy to be sent to an in dustrial school.
