MAORI BOY’S OWNER-TRAINER It has been the practice of Avondale Trainer T. E. Davison to have only one horse to attend to. but nowadavs he may be seen with two under his direction. The addition is the six-year-old mare Dayform, previously trained at the suburban course by T. Kellv. Dayform is by Day Comet" from Cultriform, the dam of Despard, who gave undoubted promise when in work under J. Williamson at Ellerslie. Unfortunately Despard went amiss and has not raced. Dayform is at an age where little improvement, insofar as speed is concerned, can be expected, but she may prove a worthy prospect for hurdle racing.
