MAN ELECTROCUTED
FATALITY NEAR CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today, Through a guy-wire attached to a power transmission pole he was erecting touching a live wire, William Cecil Martin was electrocuted yesterday. He was rushed to the Christchurch Hospital, but it was found impossible to resuscitate hiia. Mr. Martin, who was aged about 30, lived with his father, Mr. W. Martin, the licensee of the Belfast Hotel. He was employed by G. F. Drury, who was putting in two piles for the North Canterbury Power Board. These were to carry £2*ooo-volt transmission lines.
