Shopkeeper Fights To Capture Burglars
“KICKED IN THE NECK” STRUGGLE IN VAIN Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Set upon by two men whom he surprised attempting to enter his shop at the corner of Barrington and Somerfield Streets, on Tuesday evening, Mr. F. Good fought valiantly to hold them while he called assistance. men were -too strong and in -*- the end Mr. Good was left dazed by a kick in the neck while the two men made for safety. The thieves had not been able to make an entry. Mr. Good is considerably the worse for his experience, as he is covered from head to l’eet with bruises. Detectives visited the scene yesterday and took finger prints.
