Hunt has been reappointed to the Dairy Produce Control Board as the commercial representative. according to a Gazette notice. —P-A. Professor P. P. G. Schott, of the German Shipping Institute of Hamburg, who is at present visiting Auckland, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Thedens. He will sail for the Islands by the Tofua on Saturday. The Hon. E. H. Farrar, New South Wales Minister of Labour and Industry. will arrive from Wellington tomorrow to meet the Premier, Mr. T. R. Bavin, who is to arrive by the Makura. He will be staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. J. T. Grose, general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, will leave Wellington by the Maunganui on Tuesday for San Francisco. He will spend some time in the United States, visiting Portland and Seattle, aiso Chicago and New York, and from New York will proceed to London to confer with tho directors of the National Bank there. Mr. Grose retains the chairmanship of the Associated Banks in New Zealand, but the duties of that office in his absence will be discharged by Mr. W. F. L.
