SOUTHLAND FARMERS’ TOUR

WELCOME AT HAMILTON (From Our Oxen Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. Southland farmers, numbering about 280, arrived from Rotorua at noon today. An informal welcome was accorded them at the station by Mr. T. H. Henderson, president of the W'aikato Farmers’ Union and representatives of the Winter Shpw Association, Breeders’ Association and Rotary Club. A civic reception will be held at 4 p.m., after the tourists have visited various points of interest.
