MAN HIT BY ROCK
QUARRYING ACCIDENT (From Our Own Correspondent) THAMES, To-day. While engaged quarrying at Paeroa last week, Mr. Eugene Daly, of Netherton, was struck on the head by a stone that had dislodged from the face of the hill higher up. The rock inflicted serious injuries, and the injured man was conveyed to the Thames Hospital. His condition is still grave, though there is a slight improvement.
