WOMAN CYCLIST KILLED

STRUCK BY SERVICE CAR BROTHER’S LIGHT INJURIES Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. A fatal • accident occurred at about 5 p.m. to-day, through a collision between a bicycle and a motor-car. Miss Laura Spratt. aged 22, of Riddler’s Crescent, was killed instantaneously, when the bicycle on which she was riding with her brother was struck by a service car, which was going from Masterton to Wellington. The car was being driven by Mr. Evan Smith. Both the riders on the bicycle were thrown a considerable distance. Miss Spratt received terrible injuries. Her brother escaped with a few bruises.
