SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY

At the Sunday School anniversary services at St. George’s Presbyterian «'hurch yesterday, singing by the children was a special feature. The Rev. S. J. Atkins, of Belmont, who conducted the morning service, spoke of kindness to animals and the lessons to be learned from the lion and the tiger, as well as from dogs and other pets. In the afternoon the Rev. •T. Hiddlestone, of the Milford Baptist Church, gave a children’s address. Progress during the past year was outlined briefly by the minister, the Rev. M. Richards, in the evening. There has been a marked increase in the number attending Sunday School during the last few months, and the school now has a full staff of teachers. It was fortunate that an excellent superintendent had come forward, making possible such an encouraging position. All other branches of church activity are in an equally flourishing condition.
