SUICIDE BY POISONING

WAIMAUKU MAN’S DEATH RELATIVES FOUND BY RADIO A verdict that death was due to poisoning was returned at an inquest held on Saturday concerning the death of Frank Carter, a single man, aged 46, who was found dead in his house near Waimauku the same morning. The evidence given before Mr. E. G. Sanders, coroner, and a jury, was to the effect that Carter was in the habit of going to a neighbour for milk and when he did not appear as usual the neighbour visited the house and found Carter dead on the floor. The news of the death was broadcast by IYA on Saturday evening and, as a result of the appeal, deceased’s relatives were found in Wellington.
