r PHE Great Northern Trotting Derby of 1929 will be staged at the Christmas carnival of that year, and entries, which are closed, total 81. Owners of youngsters engaged will do well to study the amended conditions governing the system of forfeit payments. When these are due it will be imperative for owners to give notification of their intention to continue the engagement, otherwise it will be cancelled.
