MORE THAN 10,000 SEE ADVERTISING DISPLAY
FIVE DAYS’ EXHIBITION
During the five days and nights the Advertising Exhibition in the Town Hall was open the attendance totalled 10,300. The officials are well satisfied at the manner in which public interest was sustained throughout. Over a score of entries were received on Saturday evening for impersonations of well-known trademarks and advertising characters. The dresses showed great attention to detail. The result of this ballot is not known as yet. The Andrews and Clark’s rug-valua-tion competition was won by Miss McMaster, of 87 Hepburn Street, Ponsonby, whose valuation of the Persian rug was £24. The actual sealed marked price was £23 19s 6d.
