COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Kartigi is to be dispatched from Auckland at ten o’clock this evening - for Portland to load for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Wingatui sailed from Oamaru at ten o’clock on Tuesday evening and was to have sailed from noon today for Wellington, Portland and Auckland. The Katoa arrived at Lyttelton at halfpast nine yesterday morning and will leave there again on Saturday afternoon for Auckland direct. The Pono is announced to sail from Auckland for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu at 4 p.m. to-day The Rangitoto sails for Thames at 7 o’clock this evening, and is due to arrive back at Auckland at 5.30 p.m. tomorrow. The Motu is scheduled to sail for Paeroa at 3 p.m. to-day. The Waipu leaves Kerepeehi at 6 p.m. to-day. She is due back at this port at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning. The Claymore is announced to sail for Whangarei at 3 o’clock this afternoon, and is due to arrive back at Auckland about midnight to-morrow night. The Hauiti is to sail from Auckland for Coromandel at 7.15 a.m. to-morrow, and will return to this port at 7 o’clock the same evening. The Omana is announced to sail from Auckland for Waiwera, Mahurangi Heads and Warkworth at 7 a.m. to-mor-row, and is expected to be back at this port at 6.30 p.m. the same evening. The Hauiti arrived at Auckland from Kopu and Turua at 2.30 this afternoon. The Kawau is due to arrive at Auckland from Kawau, Leigh, Algie’s, Takatu, Ti Point and Big Omaha at 8.30 p.m. to-day. She is scheduled to sail again for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai at 6 o’clock to-morrow evening. The Waiuku is expected to arrive at this port from Surfdale, Ostend and Orniha at 6 p.m. to-day, and is announced to sail again for the above ports at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Apanui is due to arrive at Auckland from the Great Barrier at 6 o’clock to-night, and is announced to sail for Mercury Bay, Tairua and Whangamata at 11 p.m. on Saturday next. The Clansman is due to arrive at Auckland from Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui at 7.30 a.m. tomorrow, and will sail again for the above ports at 5 p.m. on Monday next. The Matangi is expected to arrive at Auckland at 7 o’clock to-morrow morning from Tauranga. She is announced to sail again for Tauranga on Monday next at 7 p.m. The Nobel auxiliary ketch Miro, laden with explosives for Gisborne and Napier, arrived at the first-named port yesterday. After discharging at Napier she will return to Auckland. The Herekino arrived at Auckland from Portland this morning.
