Society to Build up Herds.—The National Herd Honour Roll, created by the National Dairy Association, U.S.A., to stimulate interest in increased milk and butter-fat production, and the keeping of better herds is greater by nearly a thousand herds than ever before. The honour roll now includes more than 6,000 herds producing over 3001 b fat per cow per annum. Wisconsin leads with 1,400 herds, followed by Michigan with 1,078, Minnesota 659, Ohio 258 and Pennsylvania 426.
