It is explained in the “Gazette” that summer tima will not affect New Zealand standard time for the purpose of astronomy, meteorology or navigation, nor affect the construction of any document mentioning or referring to a point of time in connection will any of these purposes. The attention of mariners, is drawn to the elements contained in the New Zealand Nautical Almanac, which are given in terms of New Zeeland standard time, and to the necessity for adding one hour to these tiraes if they desire tc> obtain then in terms of summer time.
