A LINK WITH NEW ZEALAND

Although Helen Spencer, pictured above, is playing in London, she is linked with Hew Zealand through her sister, Mrs. Margot Finlayson, of Auckland, a prominent member of the Little Theatre Society. Miss Spencer, although very young, is doing remarkably well. Her latest success was Pauline Sanger in “The Constant Nymph.” She has also played with Marie Tempest in “Hay Fever,” Godfrey Tearle in “Silence,” Owen Nares in “If Winter Comes,” and with Irene Vanbrugh in “Mr. Pym Passes By,” “Belinda” and “Eileen.” London critics all pay tributes to her remarkable acting ability.
