STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd,, report on their Feilding sale as follows:—We had a small entry of sheep and a fair entry or cattle, and have to report a total clearance with the exception of one pen of sheep at slightly advanced rates. We quote:—F.m. ewes in lamb 9s 6d to 6d, good mixed lambs 8a Bd, fat ewes 10s Tad, fat and forward lambs 8a 9d, fat bullocks £6, fat and forward bollocks £5 10s, fat speyed heifers £2 11s to £4, heifer just calved £7 7s, springing heifers £8 to £3 10s, cows to calve August and September £3 10s to £3 ss, weaners 15s, 18-mouth heifers 395. The New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report for week ending June 4th At Kimboltoa on Tuesday there was only a small yarding of stock. We quote :— F.m- ewes in lamb 6s lOd to 8s Bd, good mixed aged ewes 12s (id, small lambs 2s 3d to 4s 6d, empty cows 3s 4d. At Feilding on Friday we had a heavy yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattle. Buyers were present from Waikato and other outside districts, and competition was keen, lambs o! all classes being in particularly good demand. Cattle also sold well. We quote -.—Sheep: Coll lambs 2s Id, medium 6s id, good 8a 3d to 8s 7d, forward ewes 8s 6d, cull ewes 3s lOd, failing ewes in lamb 6s 2d to 7s 6d, s.m. ewes 'Bs 9d to 10s 3d and 11s 9.3, and e. line of 626 f.m. ewes at 13s 6d, Border Leicester ewes ia lamb 16s 9d, inferior (wethers 10s 3d to 10a Bd. Cattle ; Weauera 15s 6d to 23s Gd, 20-month

heifers |in calf £2 6s to £2 12s, empty heifers 39s 6d to £3 12s, forward cows £2 6s to°£2 11s, aged cows 22s 6d, cows in calf £4, light fat cows £4 4s. Messrs Gorton & Son report •v> 0 had a good sale for lambs at Feilding ’yesterday, and all the sheep entered sold under the hammer. Prices Mixed lambs 6s to Bs lid. wether lambs 6a lid, ewes in lamp to Lincoln rams 10s 4d to 14s _6d, s.m. ewes 5s 8d to 6s 6d, fat 2-tooth wethers 11s, fat ewes 10s Id -to 10s 3d, empty ewes 8s 9d, cull lambs 2s Id. Cattle: Calves 7s 6d to 245, weaners’ies t 0.235, heifers 35s 6d to £4 Is, heifer in calf £3 ss, heifers eariv oalvers £2 18s to £6 ss, empty heifers £3 3a to £5 3s 6d, cows 31s cows in calf old ;255, springing cow £4 store cows 255, forward cows £2, 2-year steers £2 16s, fat bullocks £7 sb!
