MR LLOYD GEORGE LIBELLED.
Per Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright • Received March 13, 830. a.m. London, March 18. The newspaper People has apologised and agreed to pay £IOOO damages for libelling Mr George, the allegation being that he paid £30,000 to prevent being sued divorce suit. The Bystander apologised and paid £3OO to charities in connection with a similar libel.
