PAN-ANGLICAN THANKOFFERING.

Of the £223,000 unappropriated from the Pan-Anglican thank offerings, £IO,OOO is apportioned to Australia, £2OOO to New Zealand (mainly for education). £15,000 to Canada, £24,000 to South Africa (half for education of whites, and half for education of natives), £24,000 to West, East, and Central Africa (particularly for the purpose of staying the advance of Mahommedanism), £50,000/to India, £34,000 to China, £30,000 to Japan, £15,000 to Jamaica '(to rebuild churches). Of the apportioned gifts £42,000 is for Canada and £15,000 for Australasia. The Pan-Anglican allotment is provisional. The Bishops have been asked to summon a workers’ conference, with a view to the preparation of plans, which the committee wil consider before the final details of the allotment are settled.
