THE WAIROA FIRE.
Per Press Association. Wairoa, January 15,
A portion of a ledger has been found in the debris of the fire showing balances to September 30th and entries in December; also portion of the cover of the share register. These have been handed to the police. The discovery disposes of the allegation regarding the disappearance of the books .of the Company which the jury said was a mystery.
