AS A SEASIDE RESORT. Per Press Association.' Masterton, January 16. Masterton Chamber of Commerce' had under discussion yesterday afternoon the opening up of Paliiser Bay as a holiday resort for residents; of Masterton. The mover explained that the Wairarapa Lake could be used as a cheap and convenient means of reaching the sea beach by motor launch- The trip from the head of the Lake to Paliiser Bay oonld be in three hours. The Council of .the Chamber of Commerce will shortly have a. trial excursion over the proposed ronte to Paliiser Bay, Mr W. Barton having offered the use of a motor lauuoh*for the purpose.
