Irish Rifle and Daisy Paul covered six furlongs, finishingtogether in Imin 19sec. Irish Rifle’ appeared to most advantage. Mahoe, Lull and Fretwork were associated in a mile and a quarter, the former pair finishing together in 2min 20sec. Fretwork was several lengths behind. Research and King’s Birthday ran five furlongs together fast. A large number of others did from half to three-quarter pace vrorfe. Arahura, Repulse, Mulga Bill and Miss Vera havo arrived.
