A CRIMINAL COUPLE.

After forging a deed to obtain tbe house of a Mrs Brennan at Waterton, New York, a septuagenarian couple named Farmar lured her into the house and killed her with an axe, which Mrs Farmar wielded. They transferred the body to a trunk in deceased’s house, of which they took possession. They have been arrested and have confessed the crime.
