OYSTER SHELL GRIT. Oyster Shell Grit is just as necessary as clean water. It keeps the hens healthy and provides material for egg shell. This is caused by some derangement of the stomach and liver, and is apt to"occur more or less regularly at intervals of twa or .four weeks. It is a most distressing malady. The pain is often confined to the temples, or is most severe there; occasionally the back of the head is affected.
