Press Association— Received March 24, 9 a.m. Suva, March 24. g

There was a heavy gale last night and the glass fell to 29.25. The steamer Sangola which arrived from India on the 18th iust with 1150 Coolies, was driven ashore with the large lighters loaded with Indian cargo alongside. Many small craft wore wrecked. Houses and balconies were wrecked and the Levuka cable was interrupted, so there is no country news. The Marawa bound for Vancouver was detained, but depatred at 6 a.m.
