WEDDING.

A very' quiet wedding took place at the residence of Mr J. G. Poynter last Thursday, the contracting parties being Mr Thomas McOhesney, Marton, and Mrs Pybns, t Crofton. The Rev. P. R. Paris officiated. The bride was very tastefully attired in a beautiful grey costume and lace hat trimmed with pale blue ribbons and forget-me-nots. The bridesmaids were Miss Poynter and Miss Blanche Poynter. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a set of silver spoons and knives. The bride’s’gift to the bridegroom was a gold pin. The bridegroom’s presents to the bridesmaids were two gold brooches. The bride’s travelling costume was a brown tailor-made tweed with white hat trimmed with lace and roses.
