KRUGER'S GRAVE DESECRATED.

Press Association—Copyight. Pretoria, October 19.

A painful sensation lias been I caused in every section of Pretoria by the desecration of President ICruger's grave. The bust was wrenched from its base, and lay a yard distant. Incidentally the tombstone of a grandchild in the same plot was slightly damaged, and the statuette of an angel at the head of the grave overturned. The outrage is attributed to an attempt to steal the bust and await a : reward for its recovery, but the bust j proved to be heavier than the disturbors anticipated.
