WEATHER REPORT.

WELLINGTON, This day, Weather forecast for 24 hours, from 9 a. in. to-day:—Wind—-botAveen northeast and north-Avest at all places north of Kaikourn and Westport, and between northeast and southeast at nil other places. Barometer —fall again at all places north of Kaikonra and Westport within ten hours ; further rise at all other stations, but falling again after 12 hours. Sea—heavy on Avestern coast and at all places north of East Cape, also. betAveen Castlepoint and Kaikourn. Warnings for gales ns above and rain have been sent to all stations. Synopsis of last 24 hours-—A further fall of the barometer took plnce at all stations until about ton p.m., and since then it has risen gradually. There have been hard westerly gales and henAfy rain at most places south of Napier and New Plymouth, and very heavy thunderstorms in the middle island.
