A party of members made the j trip to Fusion and Levin Clubs on ; their opening days. We also made other trips to Levin during the season and challenged them for the Pollock Stars, their club winning by- one point, t'he game being must exciting for both sides. We also had the pleasure of entertaining the members of the Levin j Club, they having challenged us for the Brandon brooches. Owing to them not being available for outside club* we are- very grateful ‘to Messrs Bills and Moore for having presented us with a pair of pendant brooches to be played for by members of Otaki. Levin, and Foxton clubs. Only one match was piaved between Otaki and Levin, which resulted in a win for our club. These visits to and from other clubs are enjoyable. Thanks are due to uii our members for the generous and willing help towards entertaining our visitors. Players throughout the season have been very enthusiastic and the standard of play very turn'll improved.
