PERSONAL.
Mrs Bree is seriously ill in Moutere Hospital, the result of a fall received last week. Dr. Patterson, late of Otaki,lias been elected President of the Returned Soldiers-' Association (Palliatua). The death occurred on Wednesday at Wellington of Mr Vivian Biggins, Jirst assistant master at the Petone Boys' High School, and formerly of Levin.
