Mr Alex. Wilson was appointed assistant secretary, while it was agreed to have a queen carnival, three Europeans and one Native, and that Mr Day be asked to be organiser, provided terms were suitable. The ladies present wore appointed to select queens. It was decided to approach the Returned Soldiers ’ Association and ask that they delay allocation of their . funds until the matter of a carnival I was further advanced. It was decided to meet on 1* riday next if Mr Day can attend, while it was decided to ask representatives of sports bodies to also be present.
