OTAKI SURF CLUB.
*-A meeting of the above was held last night, when the Secretary reported that the finance committee had made good progress in collecting—a sum of £2B having been secured. It was reported that the ladies’ committee was doing good work in connection with the refreshment, booth, and also with the dance to be held in the evening. It was decided that the programme include (1) Afnreh Past, (2) Land Drill for the Otaki Cup, (3) Life-saving for tlip Otaki Shield, and to hold small side competitions such as nail driving, guessing, and chain-stepping. It was resolved to ask Air Field, ALP., to attond.
