Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their monthly Waikanae sale on Thursday, 22nd instant, when they disposed of a good yarding of sheep at ruling rates. Quotations — 4-tooth wethers to 28s lOd; 2-tooth wethers to 23s 4d; 2-tooth to f.f.iu. ewes to 21s; M.S. lambs to 13s; dairy heifers to £5. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd,, report having held a most successful clearing sale at Tangimoana Station, near Ohau, on Wednesday, the 21st instant. There was a largo attendance of buyers and an entire clearance was made at most satisfactory prices. Prices ruled as under: — Sheep.—2-tooth owes to 29s od; 4-th. ewes to 31s 3d; 6-th. ewes to 30s 3d; f.f.m. ewes to 26s 3d; f.m. ewes 18s; fat ewes to 27s 9d; 2-th. wethers to 25s 7d; M.S. lambs 14s od to 16s; small lambs 6s 4d to 11s 3d. Cattle. —3-year steers £5 to £6 15s; 2vear steers to £4 7s; cows in profit £4 15s to £5 ss; heifers in calf to £6 15s; weaner heifers £2 to £4 15s; heifer calves to £3; bulls £4. 15s to £6 10s. Horses. —Draught, £2B to £42; halfdraught, £3 10s to £lO.
