Since last meeting renewed application had" been made, while Mr McMillan, picture proprietor, waited on the • Board and stated that if allowed to give an entertainment he would provide a programme that would bo suit- , able, having been passed by censors . for various places. lie added, also that 1 at Levin the Borough Couucil had cveu consented to a Tom Mix picture, but ■ sm-h a film he would not _ think of ,| showing. It was decided to allow Mr McMillan to show, provided the programme was approved of by the Chair-J man, Com. Nicolson, and the Clerk. jj Surfacemen’s Holidays.
