RIFLE SHOOTING.
A TKIANGULAR MATCH. Last Saturday a team of nine journeyed to Foxton to participate in a friendly match with the local club. A team also from the Linton Club motored down from Palmerston. The match decided on was ten shots at. .100 and 000 yards, ten men aside. Owing to one of the Hautere team being unable at the last moment to make the journey an average had to be taken on ( Ids previous score. Tne Foxton Club 1 entertaiped the visiting teams to an | excellent lunch at a restaurant in the j town, after which, owing to heavy rain, the 600 yards range had to be abandoned for the day.
