These races to be confined to the district, The district to extend from Awamoko tq Longslip Station on the Otago side, thence from Lake Ohau to Elephant Hill on thq Canterbury side, by the Watershed. All horses qualified must be known to ba the bonafidn property of the nominator, and to have been three months in the district prior to tho meting. No ho. > will be allowed to run that has won LSO or over. 'Second horse to receive half the entrance money in all events. Qualification fee, LI. Three horses tq start or no race. All entries must be sent in to the Seoretary, Wharekuri Hotel, not later than 10 p.m. on the night prior to the meeting. The Otago Jockey Club rules strictly adhered to. Five per cent, to be deducted from all stakes. The decision of the stewards in all case to be final. No protest will be entertained unless accompanied with LI, which will be forfeited should the same prove frivolous.
